Ranked as one of the best value small colleges in the nation, Georgia Southwestern has 3,000 residential, commuter and online students enrolled, and the student body averages 24 years of age. Students come primarily from Georgia, but approximately 25 states and 39 nations also are represented among enrollees.
The University offers 40 bachelor’s degree programs in arts and sciences, business and computing, education and nursing; master’s degree programs in English, education, business administration, computer science, nursing (ranked 1st on list of Top 10 Nursing Schools in Georgia by nurse.org) plus a specialist program in education and pre-professional programs in law, medicine, dentistry, veterinary medicine and various allied health-care professions.
