Endeavor Scholarship

Endeavor Scholarship

Scholarship Description

Our future as a society is largely dependent upon the preparedness and ultimate success of our youth. The multiplicity of challenges facing many Black and brown students can be daunting. The most seminal of these challenges is long-standing inequity in access to adequate educational resources. This foundational imbalance has been ever-present for generations. Now, it’s time to be much more intentional about overcoming these societal challenges. Despite the overall academic achievement of this generation, many of these students struggle to break out of their environment; class and racial inequities often result in a lack of access to the resources required to apply to and attend college. As African-American men that are products of a few of our nation’s largest public school systems, we are keenly aware of how exacerbated these challenges can be for young black men.
