Noah Wilson "Loaded Spinach" Arts & Mental Health Awareness Scholarship

Noah Wilson "Loaded Spinach" Arts & Mental Health Awareness Scholarship

Scholarship Description

I lost my son, Noah A.H. Wilson to suicide in August of 2020. He was an academic scholar and graduated 10th in his high school class of 367 students. He was a Massey Scholar gaining a full tuition scholarship at The School of the Art Institute at Chicago and was beginning his sophomore year before his passing. Depression robbed my son of his livelihood and devastated all those around him. He was loved by everyone who came into contact with him. He was gifted in visual arts, songwriting and became a phenomenal rap artist. His music and art has impacted his peers and resonated with many others within the arts community and beyond; moreover, Noah helped many of his peers struggling with their own mental health.
